How to Enroll in College-NOW
Students interested in enrolling in the College-NOW
program, may
contact us to request an application, or call
the Transition Coordinator at 419-755-4794.
Criteria for acceptance into College-NOW, include
progress toward the successful completion of the sophomore
year of high school, submission of a completed College-NOW
application, completion of either the COMPASS or ACT
test, and have a minimum GPA of 2.75.
When the when the application has been completed
the Transition Coordinator will schedule a time for
the applicant to take the COMPASS test. (In the event
the applicant has previously taken the ACT test, it
will not be necessary to schedule the COMPASS test.)
When all other acceptance criteria have been met,
placement will be determined by the applicant's test
results. Acceptable minimum scores on the COMPASS
are: Reading 80, Writing 81 or ACT Reading 18, English
22.
The Transition Coordinator and College-NOW staff
will review the completed paperwork and test scores
to determine acceptance into the program. The applicant
will then be notified of their acceptance status.
