Admission Requirements

Students must have at least 3.0 high school cumulative GPA.
At least an 80 on the reading portion of the COMPASS college placement test or an 18 on the reading portion of the ACT.
Attendance records are positive (95% attendance rate).
Positive recommendation from a high school counselor, principal or teacher.
Positive recommendation following an interview with the College-NOW Director.
A grade of “C” or better in Algebra I and Geometry, or equivalent mathematics courses.
A grade of “C” or better in Earth Science and Biology, or equivalent science courses.
No barriers exist in meeting high school graduation requirements.
No documented pattern of behavior or discipline problems.
Junior class standing at the time of program entrance.
Passed all five sections of OGT.
Must be able to provide own transportation. No busing will be available.
